About the Role

Gripas Marketing is seeking a Mid-Level Reel Video Editor who excels in creating engaging, high-quality short-form video content. The ideal candidate should be skilled in storytelling, motion graphics, and transitions, with a strong understanding of social media trends.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality reels for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
• Implement engaging cuts, transitions, animations, and effects.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, memes, and viral content styles.
• Optimize video formats and compression for different social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the creative team to execute ideas effectively.
• Ensure a fast turnaround time while maintaining quality.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in short-form video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and engagement for short-form content.
• Ability to create visually engaging reels with motion graphics and transitions.
• Experience in meme-style editing and text animations is a plus.
• Sound design, color grading, and VFX experience are advantageous.
